Apple Invites: Apple has just rolled out a brand new app called Apple Invites, designed to make sending and managing event invitations much easier for iPhone users. Whether you're planning a party, gathering, or any other special occasion, this app allows you to create custom invites, manage RSVPs, and even collaborate with guests on photos and music to capture the event's memories. While iCloud+ users can create invitations, anyone, Apple device or not, can RSVP and join in. Here's the lowdown on how it works.

What Is Apple Invites?

Apple Invites is a free app for iPhone users with iOS 18 or later, and you can also access it on the web at icloud.com/invites. Apple describes the app as a tool to “help users create custom invitations to gather friends and family for any occasion.”

How Apple Invites Works

Creating an invite with Apple Invites is simple. You can pick images from your photo library or choose from a variety of pre-designed templates suited for different events. The app also works with Maps and Weather, so your guests will receive accurate directions and weather updates for the day of the event.

One of the best things about Apple Invites is that guests don’t need to be Apple users to attend your event. They don’t need an Apple ID or iCloud+ subscription to RSVP, which makes it accessible to everyone.

Apple also makes sure your event memories are captured and shared by allowing guests to upload their photos and videos to a shared album. If you're an Apple Music subscriber, you can even create collaborative playlists, so everyone can enjoy the music together.

Another cool feature is Apple’s Image Playground, which generates unique images for your invitations. Plus, the Writing Tools help you craft the perfect invitation message, taking the guesswork out of what to say.

iCloud+ Premium Features

While the app is free for all, iCloud+ users get a few extra benefits. These include more storage for high-res photos and videos, Private Relay for safer browsing, and Hide My Email for extra privacy, among other features.

Availability

Apple Invites is available for download from the App Store and also works on the web. Do keep in mind that some features may not be available in all regions or languages.
