iPhone 16 Plus Price In India: Apple launched the iPhone 16 Plus at its 'Glowtime' event on September 9, 2024. The launch came on the expected lines alongside other iPhone 16 models. The new iPhone ships with an Action Button and new Camera Control. It runs on an A18 chipset, an upgrade from A16 Bionic on the iPhone 15 Plus. It will receive the first set of Apple Intelligence features via a free software update in October 2024.

iPhone 16 Plus Specifications

iPhone 16 Plus has a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen with a 2,000nits peak brightness and Dynamic Island. The IP68-rated phone sports an Aluminium frame and enhanced Ceramic Shield protection. Running on a 3nm A18 chipset, the smartphone will get iOS 18 as a free software update on September 16. Apple claims a video playback time of up to 27 hours from the iPhone 16 Plus.

As for the optics, the smartphone offers a 48MP main + 12MP ultrawide lens on the rear in a vertical array and a 12MP selfie shooter. The ultrawide camera also enables macro photography on the new iPhone. The Camera Control can improve the photography experience and ease zoom, exposure adjustment and other functions. Moving to the connectivity, the handset boasts Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a USB-C port.

Apple iPhone 16 Plus will start from 89,900 (128GB). The 256GB and 512GB trims will cost Rs 99,900 and Rs 1,19,900. Buyers can check out offers and trade-in benefits to ease the deal. It will be available in Black, White, Pink, Teal and Ultramarine colours. While the pre-orders will go live on September 13, the availability will begin on September 20.
