Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is rumoured to launch the iPhone 16 series next month. Potential buyers can expect four smartphones in the lineup: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Weeks ahead of the launch, a recent leak teased the first look of the rear of the 'Pro' models.

The lineup gave us hints of a new colour which some marked bronze while others labelled it as gold. Tipster Majin Bu claimed the variant could be called Desert Titanium. As per the tipster's X (formerly called Twitter) post, the smartphone could debut in four colours. The lineup may include white, black, gold and grey colours. The gold version could be called desert titanium which could be dark gold.

"The desert titanium colour is kind of dark gold, similar to the old purple colour, relatively discreet and deep," @MajinBuOfficial noted. Earlier, tipster Sonny Dickson posted a real-life photograph that highlighted the possible colours via the dummy unit of the 'Pro' models. The "Desert Titanium" could replace the "Blue Titanium" shade, which is available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The Desert Titanium could join the White Titanium, Black Titanium, and Natural Titanium colours. The black and silver trims could get a darker tint. Leaks further suggest the company could switch to a polished finish like the stainless steel on the iPhone 14 Pro.
