iPhone 17 Series: Apple is preparing for what may be its largest smartphone release in years. Although the company hasn't officially announced anything, all indications are that the iPhone 17 series will be globally released in September of 2025, as is customary with Apple.

Industry expert Mark Gurman (Bloomberg) suggests the dates September 9 or 10 as probable event dates. Apple has four new releases planned for this year—the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone 17 Air, coming in place of the soon-to-be-out iPhone 17 Plus.

A Mega Apple Event With More Than Just iPhones

The September keynote won't be smartphone-centric. Apple is also rumoured to introduce Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple Watch Ultra 3, so it will be a packed event for Apple enthusiasts.

Leaks point to a major new design overhaul for the iPhone 17 series:

  • Horizontal camera arrangement on the iPhone 17 Pro and Air models, breaking from the vertical positioning of the iPhone 16.
  • The thinnest iPhone to date, looking to raise the bar on thin designs.

Power Under the Hood: A19 Pro Chip & Increased RAM

Apple's iPhone 17 lineup should introduce Apple's A19 Pro chip, using TSMC's next‑gen 3nm process, delivering lightning‑fast performance and increased power efficiency.

For the first time, iPhones can have 12GB of RAM, boosting multitasking and allowing for sophisticated Apple Intelligence AI features.

Revolutionary Camera Enhancements for Photography Enthusiasts

Apple is allegedly bringing mobile photography to the next level:

  • 48MP telephoto lens with 8x optical zoom (Pro models).
  • Each of the three rear cameras—primary, ultra‑wide, and telephoto—might have 48MP sensors.
