Apple Let Loose Event 2024: Apple announced the Apple Pencil Pro next to the new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro in India at its 'Let Loose' 2024 event. The new stylus ships with haptic feedback and gets squeeze, hover, barrel roll and double-tap gestures. It also gets Find My integration to let users locate it from the Find My app.

Besides the new Pencil, the company showcased the new Magic Keyboard at the event. Apple also introduced Smart Folio covers for the new iPad Pro and iPad Air. Here are more details about all these accessories for a better perspective.

Apple Pencil Pro Features

The new squeeze gesture triggers a new palette to let users "quickly switch tools, line weights and colours". Barrel roll allows for precise control of pen and brush tools via the new gyroscope. With hover, you can easily view where your Pencil will touch the display, which can help you while writing, sketching and more.

Moreover, 'double tap' can help users switch tools while working on a compatible iPad. When a user squeezes or double-taps the Pencil, the custom haptic engine will stir to action to deliver haptic feedback.

Apple Pencil Pro Compatibility

The accessory can attach and charge magnetically to an iPad and is compatible with the new iPad Pro (M4) and the iPad Air (M2). The system requirements include iPadOS 17.5 or later.

Apple Pencil Pro starts from Rs 11,900 (free personalisation available) and will be available from May 15. You can order the accessory now.

Magic Keyboard For iPad Pro M4 Features

Besides the Pencil, the company showcased the new Magic Keyboard at the event as an accessory for the M4 OLED iPad Pro with iPadOS 17.4 or later. The new backlit keyboard, sporting an aluminium palm rest and hinge, is much thinner and lighter. It comes in White and Black shades. The accessory offers a larger glass trackpad (with haptic feedback and multi-touch gestures), a 14-key function row (with brightness, volume and more controls) and a USB-C port.

Magic Keyboard For iPad Pro 2024 Price In India

The accessory carries a starting price of Rs 29,900 for the 11-inch M4 iPad Pro. For the 13-inch iPad Pro, the keyboard costs Rs 33,900. You can order the new Magic Keyboard now. It will be available from May 15.

Smart Folio Cases For New iPads

Apple has also listed Smart Folio cases for the new iPads. These attach magnetically and support varying viewing angles. For Apple iPad Pro, they will be available in Black, White, and Denim shades. Secondly, these will be offered in Charcoal Grey, Light Violet, Denim and Sage colours for iPad Air. The 11-inch trims will be available for Rs 8,500, and the 13-inch options will be available for Rs 10,900 for both iPad models.
