Apple Vision Pro Release Date: Cupertino-based tech giant Apple announced that its first 'spatial computer' headset will be available for buyers in the US starting February 2, 2024. Customers can check out the product across all Apple Stores (after launch) and pre-order the unit from January 19. The company did not share any update on the India release date while announcing its debut in the US.

However, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, a reliable name for Apple-related leaks (who also speculated about the Vision Pro announcement on Sunday), shared hints of a release of the headset in other regions. Gurman noted that the device may arrive in China, Canada and the UK soon. Considering these hints and the popularity of Apple products in the country, the tech giant could consider releasing the device in India.

But, users must digest the speculation with a pinch of salt as the company has not confirmed any update on the launch of other regions. Do note that the company has two official Apple stores in India, one in Delhi and the other in Mumbai. This implies the company has the space to present the headsets to the Indian audience. Meanwhile, here are the price and specifications of the Vision Pro for a quick refresher.

Visio Pro has a 4K micro-OLED high-resolution display per eye with 23 million pixels that can deliver 100 feet screen output in virtual reality. It runs on an M2 and R1 chip. The headset runs on visionOS and offers controls via Siri. For an immersive audio experience, it gets Spatial Audio support. The R1 chip process input from 12 cameras, five sensors, and six mics on the Vision Pro during the user experience. As for extras, it gets Persona, Optic ID and EyeSight features. Apple Vision Pro has a starting price of $3,499 (around Rs 2.9 lakh).

"ZEISS Optical Inserts — Readers will be available for $99 (U.S.), and ZEISS Optical Inserts — Prescription will be available for $149 (US)," Apple said. It comes in two options: Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band and includes "a Light Seal, two Light Seal Cushions, an Apple Vision Pro Cover, Polishing Cloth, Battery, USB-C Charge Cable, and USB-C Power Adapter."
