Apple CEO Tim Cook has finally announced the availability of the Vision Pro handset, which aims to enhance spatial computing and connectivity among the people. The handset will be available for pre-orders starting January 19 and will be available in the United States from February 2.

Apple Vision Pro Handset OS:

Apple has made a unique spatial operating system dubbed visionOS, which can be controlled using the user’s eyes, hands and voice. With this, the handset offers a 3D user interface. It also gets some unique features like Environment, which includes the transportation of users to dynamic landscapes such as national parks or the moon, creating a unique and immersive experience.

Apple Vision Pro Entertainment And Productivity

Apple Vision Pro is marketed as the best workspace for collaboration and multitasking because of its innovative 3D interface, which enables applications to appear side by side at any size. With its extremely high-resolution screens that support HDR content and provide an immersive experience for Apple TV+, Disney+, Max, and other services, the phone also delivers entertainment on a whole new level. More than 250 games on Apple Arcade are available for users to play, with spatial games like Game Room and What the Golf? promising interesting and captivating gameplay.

Additionally, Apple Vision Pro offers users a new method of capturing and relieving their memories. Users can revisit memorable moments with the help of spatial images and videos, and the immersive experience is further enhanced by spatial audio. With the iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, users can record spatial video and then relive it on Vision Pro.

FaceTime Goes Spatial

With the ability to utilise spatial features of the device, FaceTime on Apple Vision Pro makes all callers appear life-sized and Spatial Audio adds a sense of reality. 3D personas, which capture hand gestures and facial expressions in real-time to create a spatial reconstruction of the user’s presence, allow users to represent themselves genuinely within virtual meetings.
