Vision Pro Launch: Apple is all set to introduce a range of products next year. Besides the seasoned iPhone and Apple Watch Series, rumours have speculated an iPad lineup refresh, upgraded audio wearables and Mac machines. However, among the most anticipated launches of 2024 from Apple will likely be the Apple Vision Pro. And TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, renowned for Apple-related reveals before launch, has termed the device "the most important product" of the company set for a launch next year.
Kuo reports that the estimated shipments for 2024 are 5,00,000 units. According to the analyst, the headset is currently in mass production, and shipments are expected to begin in the first week of January. Following mass shipments, the store availability of the Vision Pro could materialise by the end of next month or February, as per the latest shipment schedule tipped by Kuo.
The industry expert writes that if the product turns out better than expected, it might help build a public consensus that the Vision Pro is the "next star product in consumer electronics". The anticipations of a February launch of the device were earlier reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

The Apple tipster, citing anonymous sources, claims the production is running in China at a competitive speed. Speaking of the Vision Pro, the headset will debut first in the United States. Other regions will follow later. It will run on visionOS, the company's "first spatial operating system". The Vision Pro headset will offer an EyeSight feature for transparency for interactions in the real world.
The device will offer micro-OLED dual displays, M2 and R1 chips, 12 cameras, five sensors and six mics. It will be available at a starting price of $3,499 (roughly 2,92,000) in the US. The company has not made any statement on an India debut of the headset anytime soon.
