Apple has been planning quite a few things for launch for next year. Soon after the company introduced the new iMac and MacBook Pro, the next big leap in front of Apple stands in the form of the upcoming Apple Vision Pro. And Mark Gurman, a reliable tipster for Apple-related leaks before launch, has shifted his launch expectations for the product.

9To5Mac, citing the journalist's 'Power On' newsletter, reported that the debut could happen in March next year in the United States. This timeline is different from the earlier expectations of a release in January 2024. The report noted this delay is probably because of the pending distribution plans and final testing.

Apple Vision Pro Launch Date Delayed

According to Apple's press release, the 'spatial computer' will debut early next year in the US, followed by other regions later. Apple may adopt an in-store appointment mechanism to sell the Vision Pro and allow users to experience the device. The headset will cost $3,499 at the time of launch.

Other Projects Of Apple

The company is also working on a range of other projects. Among the significant ones is the MicroLED screen, which may debut on the upcoming Apple Watch first. Also, the company is planning a "noninvasive glucose monitoring" device that Apple reportedly plans to embed in the Apple Watch.

Plus, the tech giant is also working on a combined Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chip and custom design for product batteries. An "in-house" strategy for the optics is also in the plans, according to the Bloomberg journalist. These steps seem like an attempt to streamline the production of components and reduce reliance on other producers.

Lastly, the company is currently working on an M3 Ultra chip. For the unversed, the company announced the three M3 series chips at its 'Scary Fast' event alongside the new iMac and MacBook Pro. You can read more on this here.
