Apple's WWDC 2023 was one of the most anticipated developer events in the tech sector because Apple had a lot to unveil this year. It contains the Mixed Reality headset as well as the iOS 17 upgrade. Unlike last year's iOS 16, iOS 17 includes a slew of new features that will undoubtedly pique the interest of iPhone owners.

Apple has not specified a date for the distribution, but the iOS 17 beta is now available to select beta testers and may soon be available to the general public worldwide. The iOS 17 update includes a number of new features that have been in the works for some time.

Following are some of the important features of iOS 17 introduced at the WWDC 2023 event:

1. Posters: Users can set up the background of the screen even for the calls, and images. Even the users can also customise the call screens with colours, transitions, and more.

2. Live Voice Mail For calls and Facetime: For fake calls, Apple has introduced live transcription so that the users can see what the fake caller is saying and let them decide whether to continue the call or not. The company has also introduced the Facetime message.

3. Search, Catchup, Swipe To Reply: The company has introduced an advanced search, catch-up option, and a simple swipe to reply for making day to day tasks easier for the users.

4. Location: The company has also introduced much more advanced, end-to-end encrypted location sharing to friends, family, and loved ones.

5. iMessage redesigned, Stickers: The company has also introduced the redesigned iMessage, along with a dedicated sticker panel. Users can make their stickers with their images and more. Users can also react to the messages with their stickers.

6. NameDrop: With this new capability, users may bring their iPhones and share personal information, including contacts and images, simply by bringing the device close. It can also be used to bring the iPhone closer to the Apple Watch.

7. SharePlay: The users can also share music, games, and other things with their friends or loved ones.

8. Journaling Application: The iOS 17 now comes up with a new journaling application that enables users to keep track of their daily activities. It includes contacts, location, music, and more. It will be introduced later this year. It will be secured, end-to-end encrypted.

9. Standby: Users would be able to perform a series of new tasks like tracking orders, knowing live scores, and accessing Siri.

10. Hey Siri To Siri: Users would be able to access Siri just by Saying Siri instead of Siri. Additionally, the users would be able to give back-to-back commands without calling Siri.
