BSNL Mobile Rechrage Plan 2025: If you're looking for an affordable prepaid plan with good data benefits, BSNL could be just the thing. The government-owned telecom operator continues to lead the way with its value-for-money offers, and its ₹599 prepaid plan is a good case in point—particularly when compared to comparable plans from private operators.
BSNL ₹599 Plan: High Data, Long Validity
As opposed to other operators that provide 1.5GB of daily data for this price, BSNL more than doubles the value. Under this plan, customers receive:
-3GB of data every day
-Unlimited voice calls to all networks
-100 SMS/day
-84 days of validity
That equals a total of 252 GB of data for the validity duration. Initially launched as a "Work from Home" pack, this plan continues to be offered across the country under the voice vouchers of BSNL.
In Need of Longer Validity? Look at BSNL's ₹997 Plan
For users who want something more long-term in nature, there is also a ₹997 prepaid plan from BSNL with:
-2GB per day of data
-Unlimited calling
-100 SMS/day
-160 days of validity
Speeds decrease to 40 Kbps once the daily data limit is reached. It is perfect for cost-sensitive users who do not wish to recharge often but still require some good daily data.

Cheap but with Some Limitations
BSNL is still the most affordable telecom operator in India. But its largest weakness is sparse 4G coverage. Although BSNL has deployed 4G at more than 75,000 sites, it's not yet in all parts of the country. The company plans to increase to 1 lakh 4G sites by June 2025, leveraging indigenous technology.
So, if you are not in a 5G area served by Airtel or Jio, BSNL's offerings are good value for money—if you happen to be in an area with good coverage.
