BGMI 3.8 Update: Get ready to slay on the battlefield, as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is all set to release the much awaited 3.8 update today, May 15. The update is inspired by the Attack on Titan theme and is destined to bring a new captivating gameplay experience for its gaming community.
This time BGMI has amped up its gameplay with the 3.8 update, and this time you will have massive battles to loot trains, a new introduction in its battle royale-style gameplay.
BGMI 3.8 Update Release Date And Time
Krafton has started the rollout of the much-awaited 3.8 update from today itself, May 15, in India. However, the rollout is gradual and will take some time before it's available to all. There is a phased rollout of the update taking place on both Android and iOS devices. The availability will also depend on your region and smartphone model, and in some cases you might get your hands on it earlier than others, so check it out.

BGMI 3.8 Update What's new?
The main highlight of the 3.8 update this time is the Steampunk Frontier Theme Mode, based on the popular anime Attack on Titan.
Apart from that, two new drop locations have also been introduced on the Erangel map, around the shooting range and Mylta; here you can expect some high-quality loot and some close-quarters action as well.
Other Notable Features That You Need to Watch Out For
Giant Potion – This one’s a game-changer. Drink it, and you’ll grow into a towering version of yourself for a limited time. Even better? Your teammates can hop on your shoulders and ride along. Just make sure to time it right—the effect wears off before you know it.
Mechanical Hook – Think Spider-Man vibes. This gadget lets you swing across the map with ease, opening up new ways to navigate and surprise your enemies. It’s fast and fun and adds a whole new layer of strategy.
Loot Trains – Keep an eye out for two moving trains packed with powerful gear and weapons. They’ll travel across the map during matches, offering players a chance to gear up on the go—if you can catch them.
