BGMI or Battleground Mobile India, a third-person battle royale game is all set to make a comeback as the game developer Krafton sharing its statement has announced that the Indian authorities have permitted it to resume the operations of the game in India.
The game which was introduced as an alternative to PUBG Mobile India was banned over the privacy and security concerns due to the link of the game developers. However, the game was not banned but was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The users who have the game installed on their smartphones were able to play the game. However, no updates, no new maps, no new seasons, and no new inventories were added in the past 10 months after the game was removed.
Interestingly, the Centre has announced that the game would make a comeback under a 90-day trial period after which a final decision will be made. “This is a 3-month trial approval of #BGMI after it has complied with issues of server locations n data security etc. We will keep a close watch on other issues of User harm, Addiction, etc in the next 3 months before a final decision is taken,” said Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Twitter.
BGMI Unban: How To Download
Users will no longer need to download apk files because Krafton plans to release the BGMI on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in the near future. Users would be able to download and install the game in the same manner as before. According to reports, the user will be able to continue playing the game by logging in with the same IDs they previously used. However, it is expected that the company would take around two weeks to bring the game to the marketplace.
BGMI Changes
It is anticipated that BGMI will develop some modified settings, such as changing the colour of the blood. It is still unknown whether the company will really release the game with a specific cap, despite the reports to the contrary.
Recently, the company taking to the social media handle shared a teaser saying, “ It’s time to switch on the notifications.”
