JE Technology Desk: BoAt, a consumer gadgets maker in India, has announced the company's very first 'Smart Ring'. It comes wrapped in a metal and ceramic build, which according to the accessory maker, is lightweight and comfortable to wear. It offers features to monitor a wearer's health and track fitness.

According to a report, it has 5ATM water and sweat resistance for protection against liquids and worry-free intense workouts and daily activities. Here is a detailed features overview of the accessory introduced by BoAt.

boAt Smart Ring: Features

The Smart Ring ships with Activity Tracking to monitor steps, distance covered and burnt calories. It can also keep track of heart health and body temperature and offers blood oxygen insights via SpO2 monitoring for health-related conditions. Other than this, it comes with Body Recovery Tracking to monitor the well-being of the body and Sleep monitoring.

Menstrual Tracker helps women keep track of menstrual cycles and receive notifications and alerts. The Smart Touch controls and boAt Ring App ensures intuitive insights into the health of the wearer via visualisations and data graphics.

BoAt Smart Ring: Availability

According to reports, the Ring will soon be available on Amazon, Flipkart and the official boAt website. However, the company has not revealed the pricing of the accessory at the time of filing. The smart ring market is steadily gaining pace in India. Ultrahuman Ring Air was recently unveiled by Ultrahuman in India for a starting price of Rs 24,999 for the first 1,000 units.
