The BSNL Rs 1 plan is back, responding to popular demand from subscribers across the country. The ultra-affordable plan is for first-time users and customers who are looking to get a second SIM card without burning a hole in their pocket, the company announced on its official X (earlier Twitter) handle. But BSNL was quick to add that this is a promotional offer on a timed basis and will not be available forever. This might be the final chance for users to get on the Rs 1 plan before that deadline has passed, and with a hard August 15th date already out.

BSNL Rs 1 Plan Availability

BSNL has also clarified that the Rs 1 plan is available only for the promotional period, and its expiry date has been set to January 31, 2026. The project will no longer be available after this date. The offer is not said to be extended or resumed in the future, and hence now seems a last chance for users who wish to subscribe.
