BSNL Recharge: BSNL has started talking about its ₹599 prepaid plan again on social media, and the timing makes sense. Data-heavy recharge plans are becoming increasingly expensive across telecom networks, so a plan that offers long validity and a generous daily data limit naturally stands out.
The ₹599 recharge is not new, but BSNL is once again pushing it as one of its stronger prepaid options for users who spend a large part of the day online. Whether it’s streaming videos, scrolling endlessly through social media, attending video calls, or working remotely, this is clearly aimed at people who burn through data quickly.

The biggest attraction here is the combination of 70 days validity and 3GB high-speed data every single day. Over the full validity period, that adds up to nearly 210GB of total data usage, which is quite substantial at this price point.
Along with the data benefits, the plan also includes unlimited voice calling across networks and 100 SMS per day, making it a fairly complete prepaid package instead of a data-only offering.
One detail BSNL is specifically highlighting is that the internet connection does not stop entirely after the daily 3GB limit is exhausted. Instead, speeds are reduced to 40 kbps. While that speed won’t be ideal for streaming or large downloads, it still allows basic messaging and light browsing to continue without a complete cutoff.
What also makes this plan convenient is the longer validity period. Many prepaid users today end up recharging every few weeks, especially with high-data plans. A 70-day validity reduces that hassle and gives users a bit more breathing room before the next recharge is due.
BSNL appears to be positioning this recharge toward practical everyday users rather than flashy marketing promises. And for people who mainly care about lots of daily data and fewer recharge reminders, the ₹599 plan may still feel like a fairly sensible option in the current market.
