With one of the biggest launches of the year now underway, players are diving into revamped multiplayer maps, a grittier Dark Aether Zombies storyline, and a campaign that leans more heavily into narrative depth than recent entries.

The launch excitement has been building all week, but the staggered release has left players checking exact unlock timings—especially with consoles and PCs following different schedules, according to All Out Gaming.

Console and PC Roll Out Differently

This year’s release is split between local midnight unlocks on consoles and a global unified launch on PC. Console players across the world gained access as soon as the clock hit midnight on 14 November in their respective time zones, giving some regions a natural early start.

The U.S. rollout was staggered in a slightly unusual pattern:

-12 AM EST – 14 November

-11 PM CST – 13 November

-9 PM PST – 13 November

This meant West Coast console players actually jumped in ahead of most of the world.

PC Unlock Times

PC players followed a single synchronised schedule, which opened as follows:

-9 PM PST – 13 November

-12 AM EST – 14 November

-5 AM GMT – 14 November

This global timing allowed PC users in certain regions to start playing earlier than local console players, creating a mixed release wave across time zones.

Game Pass Adds Even More Boost

Another major win for players: Black Ops 7 launched day one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Although the platform’s recent price hike may limit how many players can take advantage of it, active subscribers get immediate access without paying extra.
