CANVA has announced a host of AI-powered tools and features to its platform in the Canva Create event. With the new upgrades, the online design company has joined Adobe to introduce AI into creative graphics platforms.

Launched in 2013, the platform has gained popularity for its simplistic approach to graphics design. While AI remains in vogue, the platform has also introduced many generative AI tools. Here are the key nuggets from the list of new and improved features introduced in Canva Create.

Magic Design - The tool curates customisable templates of posters with just an image. The AI tool is self-dependent to opt for proper fonts, images, styles and more.

Magic Eraser - With the tool, a user can easily remove unwanted parts from an image with just one click.

Magic Edit - It can swap out/add elements to a photo by just selecting and describing in a sentence the output a user wishes to add.

Translate - The new tool allows for cross-language translation in the text of the design to reach a wider audience. It can translate over 100 languages.

Beat Sync - Once a user uploads an audio track, the tool aligns the video clip to the beats in the audio for readymade social media output.

Magic Presentations - The Magic Design helps draft a presentation design for you to edit based on your inputs in the text box.

Magic Write - The tools can generate text-based output depending on the query of the user. It can create content ranging from speeches to SEO blogs and is now available in the entire workspace. The tool supports 18 languages.

New Text to Image - As the name suggests, it can generate images from text-based inputs. Image resolution has been increased up to 16 times "while reducing generation speed by around 68%."

Animation Tools - A user can draw a path for an element to create animation footage in the video. Plus, they can adjust the speed movement styles and effects of the object.

Brand Hub - The tool packs in "brand templates, brand guidelines, fonts, graphics, logos, projects, and more," all in one place for speedy preparation of designs. Plus, more new features centred across brand presentations and graphic creation have been announced.
