  1. Pakistan released AI propaganda video on Operation Sindoor.
  2. Video falsely claimed destruction of Indian military assets.
  3. Lack of real footage led to widespread online mockery.

Pakistan on Monday marked Air Force Day with its media wing releasing a glossy propaganda video titled “Fizaon ke Pasbaan.” The video, featuring dramatic animation and AI visuals, tried to portray how Islamabad had the upper hand during India’s Operation Sindoor. However, soon after its release, the video became a subject of intense mockery online.

Pakistan's AI Propaganda Video Mocked

Despite Islamabad’s sweeping claims that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) carried out a series of extraordinary strikes during the May 2025 hostilities, the video does not show actual photographs, satellite images or real footage of the destruction it claims to have caused. One graphic in the video claims that “32 IAF bases hit” and says that “two S-400 air defence systems were destroyed.”

It also claims that Pakistan destroyed four Rafale fighter jets, one Sukhoi-30MKI, one MiG-29, one Mirage 2000 and one Heron drone. The video goes even further, depicting strikes on major Indian facilities, including Parliament, Gujarat’s Kandla Port and INS Vikrant. It also claims that the PAF managed to jam satellites, disrupt fuel supplies and destabilise the national power grid.

However, despite claims of widespread destruction, the PAF video provides no actual footage showing damaged air bases, destroyed aircraft, hit runways or damaged S-400 systems. This is in stark contrast to real footage released by India, which showed damage to 11 Pakistani military bases.

Netizens Troll Video

The video quickly attracted sarcastic reactions online, with several users mocking what they saw as an attempt by the Pakistan Air Force to reshape the narrative around Operation Sindoor. One user wrote that there was “not a single piece of real footage” showing what Pakistan had destroyed, adding that the video represented “WAR IN AI, VICTORY IN IMAGINATION.”

Another user pointed out a spelling error involving the word “grids” in the graphic referring to grid destabilisation. A third user joked that it looked as though Pakistan's entire defence budget had gone into buying a “Canva Pro subscription.” “Operation Sindoor rattled Pakistan so badly that they’re now relying on AI-generated propaganda,” another user added.
