OPENAI, a San-Francisco-based technology startup has now introduced the ChatGPT iOS application for users in India along with a few more countries. With this announcement, the application is now available in 33 countries including India.
The overall list includes Algeria, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Estonia, Ghana, India, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, Namibia, Nauru, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Qatar, Slovenia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates. Recently, the company has expanded its iOS application for users in 11 countries, days after launching it in the US first.

The application is currently available on the App Store. However, there is no official word about the Android application for users across the globe at the time but it is expected that the company may soon introduce it in the coming future.
Interestingly, within the first six days of debut on the App Store in the US, the application has got over half a million downloads as per a report by TechCrunch citing data from data.ai. With this, the application became one of the highest-performing applications which has outperformed other AI and chatbot apps including the Microsoft Edge and Bing application.
Additionally, the ChatGPT application which is currently available on the App Store for free excludes advertisements and lets the user interact with a human-like AI-chatbot. Just like Google Bard, the users can also use voice input using the company’s own speech recognition system.
Speaking of the ChatGPT Plus users, the users will be able to get their hands on the advanced GPT 4 language-based model on their smartphones. Additionally, the users can also get their hands on the subscription-based ChatGPT Plus by paying a sum of $20 per month.
