ChatGPT Prompts For Images: OpenAI has quietly tweaked how its image generation works inside of ChatGPT, and this update is less about raw model upgrades and more about how people actually use the feature. With the rollout of GPT Image 1.5, OpenAI completely redesigned the entire workflow for images by providing an Images section, making the creation, editing, and testing of visuals much easier.
Previously, image prompts were buried within regular chat conversations. Users had to mix text queries with visual requests, which often felt cluttered and confusing. Now, ChatGPT separates image generation into its own visual-first space. It helps users have a clear starting point, especially those who want quick results without having to write extended or technical prompts.

GPT Image 1.5 also addresses a number of common complaints. If the user uploads an image and asks the system to make changes, those changes are now done more precisely. The lighting, layout, and facial features stay consistent unless the prompt specifically asks for changes. Text inside images has also improved, appearing clearer and more readable-even in smaller or crowded designs.
Another noticeable improvement is speed. Image generation now takes less time, which is a big plus, especially when users need to test several ideas one after another. This makes it more practical for everyday usage, be it social media visuals, posters, cards, or concept designs.
The biggest change is the new Images section itself, available in the sidebar of both the mobile and web versions. It replaces the blank chat screen with a visual layout. At the top, it shows a simple prompt box asking the user to describe the image they want. Below that, preset styles pop up with preview samples to guide the user on how creative they can get.
These include the following variety of options: Bollywood poster, Festival, Navratri, Mithila, Jaipur textile, Sari landscape, and so on. Down below, ChatGPT proposes quick ideas to make cartoons, design greeting cards, and produce album covers. This setup removes guesswork and allows users to begin without struggling with how to word their prompt.
How to Use ChatGPT Images on Mobile
-Open the ChatGPT application.
-Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner of
-Select Images below the “New chat” option.
-Upload an image or type a description.
-Choose a style you like below, or type your own prompt.
-Tap 'generate' and wait for the image to load.
Users can request another image while one processes, saving time and allowing the quick test of multiple ideas.
Using Images in ChatGPT on the Web
-Launch Web Browser and open ChatGPT.
-Click the icon on the left in the sidebar.
-Tap Images under “Search chats”.
-Upload an image or describe it.
Select a style from the preset options or suggest your own using the prompt box.
Create the image and further develop it as required. The Images section is rather more of a specialized visual workspace than a regular chat. The pre-sets enable the guidance within prompts themselves, which gives users a faster way to experiment while reducing the chances of going off the rails. It's also possible to run many image requests side by side, with this turning the generation of images into an effortless, everyday tool rather than one-off functions.
