Since the rollout of ChatGPT Ghibli Image model, social media were flooded with Ghibli Studio Arts. However, not all users were able to generate the images. There were people who got the reply for the copyright content policy, and some thought that it is only available for paid users. However, this is not the full story. In this article, we will tell you about the Ghibli trends and how free ChatGPT users will now be able to generate images. So, without any further ado, let’s head into the article.

The Ghibli art style, known for its distinctive hand-drawn art, soft colours, whimsical characters, and storybook-like scenes, is easily recognizable. This has led to a viral trend on social media where creators use AI and hand-drawn art to create enchanting Ghibli-style photos.

A few hours back, Sam Altman took X, formerly known as Twitter, by surprise, announcing that OpenAI has now rolled out ChatGPT’s Image generation model for all free users as well. The Tweet received 1.8 million views within 8 hours of the tweet. So now, even free ChatGPT users can create their own image using the ChatGPT AI model. 

To test it, we tried it on one of our free IDs that was unable to create the images earlier, but now it generated the Ghibli image without any problem.

So for what we know, earlier free users were also able to generate Ghibli images, however, that was not the case for all, so we can conclude that this might have been a phased rollout, and now everyone must have received it.

How to Create a Ghibli Studio Image in ChatGPT for FREE?

There are not much requirements to make a Ghibli-style picture. You just need 3 things:

- ChatGPT Account

- A PC/Laptop

- The image you want to transform.

Now if you have all these available, let’s head into the process. Converting your own image to Ghibli style is simple. You just need to follow the steps below:

Step 1: Head to the official website of ChatGPT on your Laptop/PC.

Step 2: Select the ChatGPT 4o model.

Step 3: Upload the image you want to convert to Ghibli Style.

Step 4: Now enter the prompt – “Turn this into a Ghibli Studio Art”.

Step 5: It will take a few seconds and Voila you have your own photo in Ghibli Style.

Step 6: On the top right corner of your image, you will see a download button that you can click to download that image.

Now you can also ride the trend and share your Ghibli Style Photo.
