CMF Phone 1 Leaks: London-based smartphone maker Nothing launched the Nothing Phone (2a) in March 2024. Soon after launch, the company's sub-brand CMF (short for Colour, Material and Finish) is reportedly gearing up to launch the CMF Phone (1). After a report tipped the expected price, specifications, colours and more of the device, a new leak claims the device could have specifications similar to the Phone (2a).
According to X (formerly called Twitter) user 'MlgmXyysd', the CMF by Nothing Phone (1) could debut with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 series chipset. For a detailed look, here's what the tipster leaked about the CMF Phone (1).
CMF Phone 1 Specifications (Expectations)
The handset may offer a 6.67-inch OLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate. As for the design, the user tipped that the handset could offer a replaceable plastic back cover and may not have any Glyph lights on the rear. The handset could sport up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB storage (with microSD card expansion support).

It may run on Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14 and could ship with three OS and four years of security updates. Moving to the battery, the CMF Phone (1) may offer a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. As for the cameras, the device may sport a 50MP primary lens on the rear (dual cameras tipped) and a 16MP selfie shooter. As for connectivity, the handset could offer Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB Type-C port.
CMF Phone 1 Price, Release Timeline (Expectations)
CMF by Nothing's first smartphone could launch in July 2024. According to the tipster, the device could launch at a starting price of $249 (20,800). As for the colours, the handset may debut in Black, Green, Blue and Orange (which could be India-exclusive) colours. Readers should note that Nothing or CMF have not confirmed these updates. Hence, things might change, and you must take these leaks with a pinch of salt.
