CMF Phone 2 Pro: CMF, the sub-brand from Nothing, is gearing up to launch its latest smartphone—the CMF Phone 2 Pro—later this month in India. The official unveiling is set for 28 April at 6:30 PM IST, and the device will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.

Shortly after confirming the launch date, the brand released a short teaser on social media offering a glimpse of the phone’s rear design. The video, posted on X (formerly Twitter), highlights the phone’s textured back and includes the signature “CMF by Nothing” branding at the bottom. Notably, a visible screw on the back hints at the return of the interchangeable back panel feature seen on last year’s CMF Phone 1.

The teaser also reveals a speaker grille at the bottom, and the accompanying tagline “new finish” suggests a fresh take on the device’s exterior, while still holding on to the design language of its predecessor.

But it’s not just a phone launch. CMF is also introducing a new line-up of audio products alongside the Phone 2 Pro. The CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2a, and CMF Buds 2 Plus will all be launched at the same event.

To recap, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to follow the footsteps of the CMF Phone 1, which debuted in July 2024 at a starting price of ₹15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. That phone featured a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED LTPS display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G chipset. It came with up to 8GB of RAM, a 50MP Sony primary rear camera, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging.

With refreshed textures, possible customisation options, and an expanded ecosystem of audio gear, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is shaping up to be more than just a modest upgrade.
