Mac users can now immerse themselves in Night City. CD Projekt Red has finally launched Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Apple Macs based on M-series processors, the first time the hit RPG is offered on the macOS platform. To catch up on the prolonged wait, the developer packaged the complete base game with all post-launch content, including the Phantom Liberty expansion, into one package.
Optimised for Apple Silicon
Developed expressly to leverage the unique silicon of Apple, the game harnesses the processing power of M1 chips and later models. It utilises the Metal graphics framework to provide top-end visuals and stable performance. Native support for MetalFX upscaling provides smoother gameplay even at high settings.

A forthcoming update will also unlock even higher-end features such as MetalFX Frame Interpolation—intended to add frames for smoother motion—and MetalFX Denoising, which improves ray-traced visuals. On compatible Macs, the game will reach up to 120 fps frame rates without taxing system resources.
System Requirements and Performance
The game file weighs in at a hefty 149.26 GB, with CD Projekt Red recommending an extra 15% of storage space for installation. Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
- Processor: M1 chip or later
- Operating System: macOS 15.5 or newer
- RAM: Minimum 16GB
- FPS: Around 30 at minimum settings
In order to really make the most out of the experience, Apple suggests the use of at least an M3 Pro chip Mac. This is because features such as real-time ray tracing are only available on M3 or later. 18GB RAM and a display capable of 60 fps are recommended for best results.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is available for purchase on the Apple App Store for ₹4,199. It's a one-off payment with no in-app purchases—every part of the base game to the Phantom Liberty expansion is included upfront.
