This is I am guessing to put it firmly in the hands of serious researchers, analysts, or businesses that need to carry out research at a higher level. For casual users, this price is definitely going to put a dent in your pocket, but for anyone working with market analysis, legal research, or academic projects, it could be worth every penny.
We might see a price drop for this in the coming future as OpenAI is reportedly working on faster, more optimized versions that might offer more affordable plans in the future. For now, DeepResearch is a valuable resource for anyone looking to streamline their research-heavy workflows.
