Elon Musk's X (formerly Twitter) was recently in the news for the announcement that xAI's Grok model will arrive for X Premium+ users soon. And in the latest move, the chatbot has now started rolling out for these users in the US. Elon Musk shared the update on X. The company noted the longer a user has been a Premium+ subscriber, the sooner they can get access.

According to the platform, Grok will be available for users on the web, Android and iOS. For the unversed, the AI model is trained to respond to queries with a "bit of wit and has a rebellious streak". It has access to real-time knowledge via the X platform. The company notes it can also answer "spicy questions" that are otherwise rejected by the competition.

"Access to @grok is now rolling out to Premium+ subscribers in the US over the next week. The longer you've been a subscriber, the sooner you can grok. You can find Grok in the side menu on the web, iOS, and Android (the app must be up to date). On iOS and Android, you can add it to your bottom menu for easy access," @X posted.

Eligible Premium+ accounts can add Grok to the bottom by heading to the Preferences menu. Now find Extras and then Custom Navigation to add Grok. Speaking of the AI model, it is a product of just two months of training and is in its early beta stages. Powered by the Grok-1 large language model (LLM), the chatbot lacks multimodal capabilities. However, these may be added in the future.
