Elon Musk’s owned xAI, which has been in the news for its new-gen AI chatbot GrokAI is now rolling out to different countries including India. As per the latest post, the GrokAI will be available for use in 46 countries including India, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka and more. The new AI chatbot is currently available for users who hold X premium subscriptions in the US.

The new GrokAI is powered by the large language model Grok-0 and will be offering real-time information from the X platform. According to Musk, this will ensure that the chatbot has real-time knowledge which is relevant and will be different from ChatGPT and Google Bard which use different sources to create answers.

How To Use GrokAI in India:

The GrokAI service has been introduced for Premium+ users, and if you are not a subscriber, you will need to sign up in order to use it. Here are the steps following which you can use the AI service.

1. Go to grok.x.ai
2. Verify your X account and join the waitlist
3. Now click the Grok icon and follow the subscription prompts to complete the process
4. Go to the Grok AI portal login with X credentials and sign in
5. Now you will be able to use the AI service

Elon Musk also mentioned that the chatbot is being built to aid humanity in understanding and learning. The company also published some of its performance figures, highlighting that it has 63.2 per cent on the HumanEval coding test and 73% on MMLU accuracy.

Meanwhile, OpenAI has also announced that the company will now train the GenAI models in Axel Springer’s news content. This came after Sam Altman rejoined the company as CEO after a controversial exit.
