Samsung has laid out its product roadmap for the second half of 2025, giving us a clear look at what’s coming next. During its Q2 earnings call, the company confirmed a flurry of upcoming launches—including a new Galaxy S series phone, its first tri-fold smartphone, and an extended reality headset.

Galaxy S25 FE Coming Sooner Than Expected

Samsung’s VP of Mobile Experience, Daniel Araujo, confirmed that the Galaxy S25 FE will arrive earlier than usual. Based on his comments, the phone is expected to launch by August or early September, ahead of last year’s late-September debut for the Galaxy S24 FE.

Expected specs include the Exynos 2400 chipset, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. The phone will likely run on One UI 8, backed by a 4,900 mAh battery. As for cameras, a 50MP triple rear setup and 12MP front shooter are on the cards. The device may launch in several shades, including Icy Blue, Jet Black, Navy, and White.

Tri-Fold Smartphone and XR Headset Also Incoming

In addition to the S25 FE, Samsung has big plans for foldables. The company is set to unveil a tri-fold smartphone later this year, likely named the Galaxy Z TriFold. It’s expected to launch in October, and earlier leaks had referred to it as the “Samsung G Fold.”

Another highly anticipated launch is Samsung’s XR headset, internally dubbed Project Moohan. It was recently spotted on benchmarking sites, revealing it will run the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chipset. The headset is expected to target both entertainment and productivity use cases, as Samsung moves deeper into the mixed-reality space.

More Devices in the Pipeline

Samsung isn’t stopping with just flagships. It plans to refresh its tablet lineup with the Galaxy Tab S11 series and expand its budget range with new entries in the Galaxy A series. Leaked devices like the Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy A07 may be part of this rollout.
