Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, which is one of the favourite topics for tipsters and tech enthusiasts, has officially made its global debut with an all-new design, more accurate and peculiar features. The Galaxy Watch 6 is introduced as the successor to the existing Galaxy Watch 5 and comes in different variants for the fans.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Specs:
The all-new Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series comes in two variants- Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Both of them differ in screen sizes, the Watch 6 gets 40mm and 44mm dial options while the Classic gets 43mm and 47mm. Both the sizes of Classic watches come with BlueTooth and LTE options while the Watch 6 40 mm gets Bluetooth only.
The 40 mm watch gets a 1.3-inch, 432×432 resolution, and the bigger 44 mm watch gets a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 480×480 resolution. The Watch 6 Classic 43 mm gets a 1.3-inch display with a 432×432 resolution and the top-end 47mm variant is offered with a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display.
The Watch 6 is backed by a 300 mAh battery while the Classic variants are backed by a 425 mAh battery. All the smartwatches run on the WearOS 4 and get LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi (2.4+5GHz), NFC, and GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo as connectivity features.
The new Watch 6 series has advanced health and fitness features enabled by various sensors, including heart rate, temperature, and motion sensors. It offers in-depth sleep analysis with a Sleep Score, along with personalised Sleep Coaching. There's a Body Composition feature for physical measurements like muscle mass and body fat percentage. The Personalized Heart Rate Zone helps users set running goals based on their abilities.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Series Price
The 43 mm Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic costs $399 (about Rs 32,700), while the 47 mm model costs $429 (about Rs 35,200). Both sizes are offered in Black and Silver.
The Galaxy Watch 6 40mm with Bluetooth costs $299 (about Rs 24,500), while the top-tier 44 mm model costs $329 (approximately Rs 27,000). The smartwatch is available in three different colours: graphite, silver, and gold.
