GMAIL is among the popular communication apps used worldwide for personal and work purposes. To improve the experience of this service for its audience, the search giant is adding a feature that would allow users to find just the right email they will look for in the Gmail app on mobile with comparatively less effort.

The machine learning algorithm will use the keyword in search, recent emails and other factors to display the best results for a search term. These will appear above the traditional 'All results in mail' section (which sorts the results based on recency) in the 'Top results' tab. With the feature, you will get to see the most relevant information, regardless of the timestamp, allowing quick access to emails and attachments.

Improved search will be available to all personal Google Accounts and Workspace customers, the company said in a Google Workspace Updates blog.

Meanwhile, on a related note, the company also announced the 'Help me write' feature at Google I/O 2023. Once rolled out, it will allow users to generate email responses with finer details using artificial intelligence. It was one of the features that were announced in the workspace apps at the massive AI-heavy event.
