"Starting next month, trusted testers will be able to try this and six more generative AI features across Workspace," Pappu adds. It will roll out later this year to business and consumer Workspace users via Duet AI for Workspace.

Duet AI in Gmail - 'Help me write' feature can help users write responses to emails. This would allow the user to frame email messages by entering prompts in Gmail.

Duet AI in Slides - In Google Slides, a user can generate images that they can use in their presentations by entering short prompts. A user can use generative AI to create 6-8 images that can be used in the presentation including changing styles ranging from photography, illustration, clipart and more.

Duet AI in Sheets - The new 'help me organise' in Sheets will design custom plans to manage and keep track of data. Generative AI can create tables and data to allow a user to get started.

Duet AI in Meet - The functionality will allow the user to generate backgrounds for video calls. It would help protect the privacy of the user alongside offering diverse options.

Duet AI in Docs - With Duet AI in Docs, a user generate a wide range of textual content and more via entering prompts. AI can now help write job descriptions via the PaLM 2 model.

Speaking of Bard, the AI model will become more visual in the coming weeks by including more images in the results. Moreover, Bard will now operate on an upgraded PaLM 2 model.
