Search giant Google has announced its new 'Google Essentials' app that can ease the installation of Google services on Windows devices. These include Google Play Games while setting up a PC. According to the tech giant, Google Essentials will first arrive on HP consumer and gaming machines running on the Windows operating system. The list includes the HP Spectre, Envy, Pavilion, OMEN and Victus models.
The Google Essentials app will also be available on OmniBook devices soon. These users can access Google Essentials from the Start menu and switch across devices. For starters, users can try out mobile and PC games from the Google Play Games such as Clash of Clans and CookieRun: Tower of Adventures. You can sync the progress and reward points for select titles.
The syncing feature can help users ensure they can catch up on the progress from where they left off on their PC or Android device. Users can also access apps like Google Photos and Google Messages via Essentials. This can help you skim through your photo library or respond to messages. The experience will expand to more Windows laptops and desktops in the upcoming months.

Google Essentials will also offer shortcuts to other Google apps such as Google Docs, Drive and Calendar. "Eligible Google One subscribers can get access to a two-month trial of Google One 100GB for their cloud storage needs, on us," Google said. For people who may not use the app, you can either uninstall a particular Google service or remove Google Essentials.
While Google has not offered any details about the UI and the installation process, we should know more about this in future. Google Essentials can ease the experience of Android and PC integration for users who use Google apps on a regular basis on both platforms.
