GOOGLE has finally unveiled its first-ever foldable phone, the Google Pixel Fold, at the Google I/O 2023 event, for the first time in its history. Interestingly, Google claims that it is the thinnest foldable smartphone on the market. It also gets some impressive hardware and looks.
Google Pixel Fold Specifications:
Google’s first foldable Pixel Fold gets a huge 5.8-inch FHD+ cover display and a massive 7.6-inch of inner display with a refresh rate panel of 120 Hz. Under the hood, the Pixel Fold is powered by Google’s own Tensor G2 and will be offered with up to 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 512GB options. The smartphone will be backed by an impressive 4,700mAh battery and fast charging support of AA W. The smartphone would run on Android 13 out of the box.
Speaking of the optics, the smartphone gets a huge 48 MP primary shooter along with a 10.8 MP ultrawide lens and a 10.8 MP telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, the Pixel Fold gets two different cameras including a 9.5 MP outer and an 8 MP inner camera.
Additionally, the company has mentioned a few features including the continuity feature along with both screen use at the same time. However, at first glimpse, it does not seem to have a creaseless design.
Google Pixel Fold Price:
The Google Pixel Fold is available in two different storage options and is priced at $1799 for the base trim with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. While the top-end variant with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
The smartphone is available in these different colours- Black and White.
The smartphone is available for pre-orders outside India. However, the company has not made any official announcements for the India launch.
