Google, which has been working on major AI upgrades in almost all its services, is now reportedly planning to introduce a new AI-powered life coach. According to a report by The New York Times, the under-development tool can do up to 21 different types of personal and professional tasks, including life advice, ideas, planning meals, financial planning and more.

Google is reportedly trying hard to grab the spotlight from San Francisco-based OpenAI's ChatGPT, which has already garnered a lot of attention. According to the report, this could be Google's next big AI strategy to compete with ChatGPT. Before ChatGPT made its global debut, Google announced that it had been testing generative AI with protection precautions.

Google Life Coach: What Is It

According to reports, the business has begun testing its life coach in DeepMind, its in-house AI research lab. According to the article, the search giant is also collaborating with Scale AI. According to sources, the life coach will be similar to ChatGPT and Bard, an AI chatbot that will answer queries. It can be related to any of the 21 tasks, and users will receive thorough responses.

Google Bard provides similar capabilities, although it has certain limits as well. The chatbot avoids offering remarks on financial, health, and legal advice, and Google appears to be developing new technology to do so.

According to a DeepMind spokesperson quoted in the New York Times report, Google has collaborated with many partners to evaluate the research and products across the nation, and isolated samples of review data are not indicative of our product roadmap.

However, it is uncertain whether the forthcoming AI life coach will be included in Bard AI or not. However, it appears like Google has been focusing heavily on AI, as it has been developing new AI tools, including one that would assist journalists in creating news articles. Being a personal assistant to journalists and media organisations is expected.
