Google Pixel 8 Pro New Colour Expectations: Search engine leader Google launched the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro at its 'Made by Google' event in October last year. Both smartphones are available for purchase on Flipkart in varying colours and storage options in India. It seems the company is planning a new colour for the phones in the series, or just for the Pixel 8 Pro. X (formerly Twitter) handle of 'Made by Google' teased an announcement on January 25.
While the 'Minty Fresh' page is live on the international versions of the Google Store, an update about the release of the phone in India has not been confirmed at the time of filing. However, considering the track record of introducing new colours on the Pixel 7A (months after launch) and adding a storage variant to the Pixel 8 Pro, the company may consider introducing the new colour to India. However, users must take the details with a pinch of salt as the company has not confirmed the arrival via its official Indian sources.
The Verge highlighted screenshots of Pixel 8 series covers, which has the latest flagship with a green camera bar hinting a similar shade was in development but did not launch in October due to mysterious reasons. Plus, the report noted that the colour might be a Google Store and Google Fi-exclusive, which could mean the unit may not be supplied to third-party retailers.

Google Pixel 8, 8 Pro Price In India, Colours, Bank Offers
Pixel 8 currently starts from Rs 75,999 (8GB + 128GB) and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs 82,999 on the e-commerce site. It comes in three colours: Hazel, Obsidian and Rose. Customers can avail of up to Rs 12,000 off via bank offers and an extra Rs 12,000 off via exchange offers on the phone, subject to Flipkart terms.
Pixel 8 Pro's 12GB + 128GB model is available for Rs 1,06,999, and the 12GB + 256GB model retails for Rs 1,13,999. The handset is currently available in two colour options: Bay and Obsidian on Flipkart. Speaking of bank offers, buyers can avail up to "Rs 14,000 off on select bank credit and debit card transactions" and "extra Rs 14,000 off on exchange of select models".
