GOOGLE, a California-based technology company which is known for its Pixel series smartphone is all set to launch the Pixel 8 series in the near future. According to the report, the smartphone would witness major design changes and may not feature a curved display. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro could be the expected trims that could make a debut in Google's annual event.

According to the reports citing the renders shared by Smartprix, the Pixel could be seen breaking the design monotony and could be a new design altogether. Additionally, the Pixel 8 Pro is unlikely to get a curved screen and would be offered a flat screen. However, the Pixel 8 Pro may get a camera module that resembles the Pixel 7 series.

Speaking of the design in detail, the alleged renders make it evident that the smartphone would get curved corners along with an oval-shaped cutout that now combines the three camera sensors, while a mysterious sensor appears below the camera flash. The volume buttons and the power button are present on the right side of the device. The render also hints that the phone may boast a Type-C charger with a speaker grille.

Google Pixel 8 Pro Specifications: (Rumoured)

The report further suggests that the Google Pixel 8 Pro could get a 6.52-inch display with a thickness of around 12mm. Interestingly, the Pixel 8 series leak which surfaced back in November last year, suggested the codenames of the smartphones, known as Shiba and Husky. Furthermore, the report also suggests that the smartphone could get Tensor G3.

The Pixel 8 on the other hand could get a 5.8-inch display along with the Tensor G3 chipset ( which is not announced as of now). Additionally, the report also suggests that the Pixel 8 could get an FHD resolution of 2268 x 1080 pixels.

However, Google is yet to confirm the specific details about the upcoming smartphones and Tensor G3 arrival. Meanwhile, the company is also expected to launch the Google Pixel 7a.
