Google Pixel A series is a popular choice among tech fans who seek clean mid-range smartphones. The Pixel 8a, which is expected to be unveiled at Google's annual developer conference in 2024, has already generated a lot of anticipation. However, the business hasn't officially confirmed the launch of the Pixel 8a as of yet, but a succession of leaks, renders, and other clues indicate that the smartphone will be launched shortly.

In the previously leaked renders by TechDroider, the potential design of Google Pixel 8a has been revealed. The potential render shows that the Pixel 8a will come with a rounded design. Google, previously, showed the design of the Pixel 8a in an ad for Fi Wireless and now the real-life images have raised eyebrows of the tech fans.

Further, the smartphone is shown with a matte plastic finish which is completely different from the Pixel 7a glossy design.

Google Pixel 8a Launch Date Expectations:

While the official launch date has not been announced at the time of writing the article, just like every year the company may introduce Google IO 2024 on May 14.

Google Pixel 8a Specifications (Expectations)

Google Pixel 8a is expected to get a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate panel. Under the hood, the new Pixel 8a may get a Tensori G3 chipset and may come in two variants including 128GB and 256GB storage. It will run on Android 14. The Pixel 8a may come back with a 4,500 mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone may get a 64 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation along with a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone may get a 13 MP front camera.
