While we are weeks away from the possible launch of the Google Pixel 8a, the rumour mill has leaked a real-life image of the rumoured Pixel 9 Pro. Months ahead of its launch, the design of the upcoming smartphone in the Pixel 9 series was leaked by a Russian website - Rozetked. The prototype offers a possible first look at what to expect from the new 'Pro' model.

For the unaware, the company could launch three smartphones in the Pixel 9 series (and a possible fourth model with a folding form factor) this year. The Pixel 9 (rumoured successor of the Pixel 8) may offer dual cameras and a 6.03-inch display. The Pixel 9 Pro could ship with triple cameras and a 6.1-inch screen. Lastly, the Pixel 9 Pro XL may ship with a 6.7-inch display and triple lenses on the back and may succeed the Pixel 8 Pro.

As per the images shared in the report, the mid-model Pixel 9 Pro may be slightly smaller than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It could offer a telephoto lens, a Tensor G4 processor, 16GB RAM and 128GB storage. Based on previous reports, the upcoming series may get the Exynos Modem 5400 for improved performance and satellite connectivity.

Coming to the camera array, the design could be similar to the Pixel Fold and not the existing Pixel 8 series. The device could get a triple camera array with a flash and a temperature sensor. It may offer a glossy metallic frame. Pixel 9 Pro may have an antenna cutout (for mmWave) at the top and a USB-C port for charging. However, readers must digest the details with a pinch of salt as Google has not confirmed the development.
