It is anticipated that Google will reveal the Pixel Watch 4 next month, probably during its annual Made by Google event alongside the Pixel 10 series smartphones. Ahead of the launch, there are rumours about the smartwatch’s battery, processor, and size options.

Curiously, the smartwatch may still keep the next-gen chip rumors as the Pixel Watch 2 and 3’s SoC, Snapdragon W5 Gen 1, is expected to be used. However, Google is likely to equip the Pixel Watch with improved battery capacity, with two size variants being introduced for the first time in the series.

Pixel Watch 4 Specifications (Expected)

  • Processor: Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 (same as Pixel Watch 2 and Pixel Watch 3)

Google is anticipated to use the current chipset as the new Qualcomm SW6100 SoC is not ready.

  • Size Variants:

Pixel Watch 4 Price in India (Expected)

While recent leaks have not mentioned a specific price, they are expected to follow the previous generation's list:

  • Pixel Watch 3 41mm (Wi-Fi): ₹39,900
  • Pixel Watch 3 45mm (Wi-Fi): ₹43,900

As such, it’s fair to expect a lower overall cost of the watch.

Final Thoughts

It has been reported that performance-wise, the watch may lose major hardware improvements, but it seems that the charging time and the number of sizes will be improved in which focus from the users is highly requested. Users who prefer endurance will likely appreciate the larger size with a 45mm display and a 459mAh battery.

As we move closer to August 20, the date of the official disclosure, expect additional leaks to emerge. We will provide constant updates as the date approaches.
