Google has now made its Gemini AI (previously Bard) available in English in more countries than just the United States for Android and iOS users. This statement comes after Gemini product lead Jack Krawczyk tweeted about the progress on X, adding that mobile access for Gemini in English has begun to roll out to other countries via the dedicated Android app or a toggle within the Google iOS app.
Additionally, he stated that the rollout would go on for a few more days. Android: Rolling out through Google Assistant, which initiates an in-app opt-in. We are attempting to clarify precisely which components of the Assistant are under development versus those that are already available. (also trying to close that distance!)" Krawczyk posted.

"iOS: Introducing a toggle located at the top of your Google application. Right now, it shows up if you have English selected as your OS language," he continued. Krawczyk stated that support for Japanese and Korean will come next, followed by support for additional languages and nations. Google formally renamed their AI chatbot Bard as Gemini last week. It's on the web in forty different languages.
Meanwhile, Google has announced that it has removed over 170 million policy-violating reviews from Search and Maps. Tech-giant in its blog post has stated that it has used a Machine Learning algorithm to remove such reviews. This new algorithm helped the tech giant remove 45 per cent of fraud reviews last year compared to the previous one.
Additionally, Google has sent out a warning to users, making it very apparent that there is a possibility that their privacy may be compromised and that their personal information may be examined. The business took a support page, which is unlikely to be helpful to many users who are currently experimenting with Gemini AI. Google notes that the information is manually verified, so users are advised to exchange information with the AI chatbot instead of entering personal information like their phone number or email address.
