GOOGLE plans to add AI maquillage to its widely popular search engine to make it more "visual, snackable, personal, and human" while focusing on the young populations across the globe, citing documents accessed by the Wall Street Journal, Reuters reported.
Google will push its service away from "10 blue links." It is a traditional manner in which results are displayed in a search query. The report further claims it aims to "add more human" voices. As per WSJ, Google would integrate AI conversations, more short clips and posts from the social world. The changes would help lend support to content creators.

These transformations would be among the overhaul tech products are witnessing recently due to the AI craze. The report came amid the unprecedented rise of ChatGPT that has toppled tech companies forcing them to integrate artificial intelligence into their products.
Google is planning to host the Google I/O event in a few days, where it is expected to unveil a set of new AI programs, including "Magi," a coded project, WSJ reports.
The tech giant plans to target complicated queries that are difficult to answer by the traditional method, as per the document examined by WSJ. Visitors would be more often prompted to ask follow-up questions or swipe videos from platforms like TikTok and more. The search leader handles over 90 per cent of the total queries on the web and mobile, as per Statcounter.
Google is already integrating social forum posts and short videos in searches. And will amp up their visibility more in the coming time, the report adds, citing internal documents and sources familiar with the matter.
"More than answers, we'll help you when there's no right answer," the document states Google executives as saying. "As search evolves, delivering high-quality information and supporting a healthy, open web will remain core to our approach," a Google spokeswoman said.
Meanwhile, the update comes in the middle of undergoing AI innovations in the tech world. Microsoft was swift to join hands with OpenAI to pilot the change infused by AI and is challenging the year-old monopoly of Google.
