Grok AI Chatbot on Telegram: Elon Musk's Grok AI has been breaking the internet since its inception, and for a good reason that is its savage replies, and now it has geared up to take on another social media platform. Previously the chatbot's interaction was limited and could be accessed only through X (formerly Twitter) and its dedicated app. But now, the savage chatbot will be available on Telegram as well. This strategic move is good news for both platforms, as it will help Grok AI gain a much better outreach and also help Telegram combat the increasing competition in the AI world.

Telegram Caught In A Sea Of Legal Issues

Telegram has been under much pressure lately as it finds itself in the middle of legal issues that started in August 2024. Ever since the Telegram chief Pavel Durov got arrested, the messaging app has been accused of being a breeding ground for criminal activities and more. Moreover, the user's interest was also fainting as there was nothing new that the platform had to offer, and with the usage of AI growing at an increasing rate, not having one has affected its standing in the market. Now with the introduction of Grok AI, Telegram has started to take strides in the right direction and we can expect it to make the headlines for the coming few days.

The Grok AI chatbot will currently be available only for Telegram Premium and X premium subscribers. To initiate the chat users need to search for "GrokAI" on Telegram, this is not as seamless as WhatsApp's MetaAI, as the latter is easily visible. Currently, there is no official information if this feature will be available for free-tier users. Telegram has said that it has integrated Grok 3 the latest model with the instant messaging platform.

Grok AI uUnder Scrutiny

Lately, Elon Musk's Grok AI has been the centre of attention and under scrutiny by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India, for its use of uncensored language while responding to topics related to various political, social and historical topics. This led to an intervention in which the Ministry has asked for clarification from X, with respect to Grok's responses. Most popular AI chatbots in the market usually evade such topics, Grok AI on the other hand takes a more unconventional approach and delivers more unfiltered and open-ended responses.

Although there is no official notice issued to Grok or X by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, despite issues circling the AI chatbot. Now how the trajectory of Telegram takes off, is something that only time will tell, but this strategic move definitely gives a boost to the instant messaging platform that has been facing a downfall for some time now.
