More than a decade has passed since Rockstar launched its magnum opus, GTA V/GTA 5, and GTA fans have been speculating about every small little leak or rumour, crawling through the deepest spaces on the internet to get a glimpse of what the next big instalment, GTA VI/GTA 6 has in store for us this time. Now the official trailer for GTA 6 came out more than a year ago and since then Rockstar has kept most things under the curtain. The trailer gave us a sneak peek into what the game could look and feel like, some character details and a storyline, and since then there have been no further updates, and this is keeping fans on the edge of their seats. In this post, we will look at everything we know so far about the most-anticipated game launch of this year GTA-6.

When Will It Launch?

Now as far as leaks and rumours go the supposed launch of GTA-6 could take place in September sometime for the consoles that include the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. For PC as usual the wait might be longer, something PC gamers have experienced in the past as well, and the timeline for a PC release might take place in early 2026.

How Much Can You Expect It To Cost

Well, this might put a dent in your pocket but reports suggest that the standard version might cost you around Rs 5,999, while special editions might cost you even more around Rs 7,299. The global launch price for the game is expected to retail at $100, which is Rs 9000 approximately.

Can Your PC Run It?

The system requirements for GTA-6 have been an ongoing debate amongst its fans and the community, with many worried about not having the appropriate specs to run the game. Some might even be considering their hardware as well. But for now, the expected specs as per leaks and rumours are as follows, you might require an i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, along with a GTX 1080Ti or Radeon RX 5700XT GPU. Apart from that you will probably need 8 or more GB's of RAM and a minimum storage of 150 GB.

Gameplay, Story And Features

This time GTA is expected to showcase its first female protagonist, Lucia, who will be joined by a male protagonist as well, and we might be looking at a Bonnie and Clyde kind of scenario here, this is the most we can tell from the first trailer. Apart from that, we can definitely expect some better graphics, an enhanced AI for NPC and upgraded physics that has been the talk of the town.

The wanted system might get revamped as well, and yes you might not be able to get away this time by just spray painting your car or hiding in the bushes, Rockstar might push things much further with smarter and more realistic police chases and stealth mechanics.

GTA 2 2nd Trailer Expected Timeline

Well, I guess the April 1 launch of GTA-6's second trailer might just have been an April Fools Day prank, but the rumour has it that we might get to see a trailer in late April.
