The company HMD Global, which manufactures phones under the Nokia brand, said that it has partnered with Mattel, a manufacturer of toys, to introduce the HMD Barbie Phone, a tiny, pink flip phone with throwback features. The company introduced the phone on Barbie’s 65th birthday.

HMD Barbie Phone Price:

The phone, priced at 99 pounds ($131.24), is available starting on Wednesday. The device allows users to make calls and send texts but gives no access to social media apps.

HMD Barbie Phone Specs:

It has an exterior 1.77-inch screen and an inside 2.8-inch QVGA screen. The phone is equipped with a Unisoc T107 processor, 64MB of RAM, and 128MB of internal storage. The microSD card allows for up to 32 GB of additional memory. Operating on S30+OS, it has dual SIM functionality. A 1,450 mAh battery that powers the device for up to nine hours is included.

According to the firm, the Barbie-pink keypad features secret motifs with glowing flamingos, hearts, and palm trees.

HMD Launches Phone On Barbie’s 65th Birthday:

The debut follows the success of the previous year's "Barbie" film starring Margot Robbie, which brought in $1.4 billion at the global box office. This year marks the 65th birthday of the Barbie doll. According to research firm CCS Insight, HMD may sell more than 400,000 Barbie phones in the UK, where they will be offered by Argos and Vodafone.
