As we are hours away from celebrating Independence Day 2023, telecom companies in India have introduced a bunch of offers for their subscribers. Vodafone Idea has announced its Freedom Offers on its Vi app, which are valid till August 18. On the other hand, Reliance Jio announced its Independence Offer for prepaid users. But out of the two, which one is a better deal for you?
If you are a Vi or Jio user, here are all the details about the offers from both telecom companies.
Vi Big Freedom Sale
The offers are available via the Vi app. According to FoneArena, subscribers can avail of extra data benefits up to 50GB on unlimited recharge packs over Rs 199. Secondly, users can avail an instant discount of Rs 50 on Rs 1,449 recharge and Rs 75 on Rs 3,099 recharge.
Thirdly, through the 'Spin the Wheel' contest on the Vi App, lucky subscribers can win a Rs 3,099 recharge pack, which offers a validity of one year. Plus, additional data, a SonyLiv subscription and more are bundled with the plan. You can download the Vi App on Android or iOS to take advantage of these offers.
Jio Independence Offer: Rs 2,999 Plan
The annual plan from Jio offers a validity of 365 days. It ships with 2.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100SMS/day. As for app subscriptions, it comes with JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud subscriptions. Eligible users can avail of unlimited 5G internet data benefits.
Moreover, users can avail of discounts on Swiggy (up to Rs 100 off on a purchase of Rs 249), Yatra (up to Rs 1,500 off on Flights and 15 per cent off Domestic hotels, which can go up to Rs 4,000), Ajio (Rs 200 off on cart value of Rs 999 of select products), Netmeds (20 per cent off on order value of over Rs 999) and Reliance Digital (10 per cent off on domestic appliances and Audio accessories).
