Indus Battle Royale game from Pune-based developer SuperGaming has received seven million pre-registrations ahead of its debut esports competition on October 28. Pre-registration for the game, which is designed for mobile, PC, and consoles, is presently accessible on Google Play for Android, with availability on the App Store for iOS and iPadOS anticipated soon.
SuperGaming's co-founder and CEO, Roby John, expressed gratitude for the support received during the game's development, and the company is eager to test its performance in competitive environments featuring India's top teams. “Since our last community playtest in our studio, we feel we’re ready to see how the game performs in competitive environments featuring India’s best teams. We’re grateful for their support in building India’s most ambitious battle royale to date,” said SuperGaming co-founder and CEO, Roby John.
The victorious team will receive Rs 5 lakh from the tournament's Rs 10 lakh total prize fund. Indus' esports tournament edition will have the full "Virlok" map, enhanced customization options, improved animation and visuals, and improved control schemes.
Co-founded by Roby John, Sanket Nadhani, Christelle D'cruz, Sreejit J, and Navneet Waraich, SuperGaming has created its own gaming platform, SuperPlatform, in addition to creating well-known mobile games including MaskGun, Silly Royale, and Tower Conquest. The official PAC-MAN game is one of the many massively multiplayer games that can be played on this platform in real-time.
Meanwhile, Krafton has announced the "India-Korea Invitational," an exciting worldwide esports competition slated to take place from October 26 to 28, 2023, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. This event will battle eight great Indian esports teams against top-rated Korean esports teams in BGMI, Road To Valour: Empires, and other popular esports titles, all for a hefty prize pool of Rs 10,000,000.
