Infinix has recently launched the Hot 60 5G+ in India, bringing a new choice to the affordable 5G smartphone market. What sets this phone apart isn't just the speed—it's the emphasis on AI-centric features, such as a dedicated, customisable AI button, Google's Circle to Search, and Infinix's proprietary Folax AI assistant.

Camera Setup and Battery

Imaging is taken care of by a 50 MP primary rear camera with dual-mode video recording, while the front accommodates an 8 MP selfie snapper.

All this is powered by a 5,200 mAh battery that supports bypass charging and reverse wired charging. The phone is 7.8 mm thick and has an IP64 rating, providing minimum protection against dust and splashes.

Performance and Display

Under the hood, the phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset with 6GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The storage is 128GB, and the phone comes with XOS 15 on Android 15.

On the front, it has a 6.7-inch HD+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 700 nits peak bright spot, delivering a smooth visual experience whether gaming, scrolling, or streaming.

AI at the Forefront

One of the notable features is the dedicated AI button at the bottom of the volume and power buttons. The button doubles as both single- and long-press functionality and can be assigned to more than 30 mainstream apps such as YouTube or Google Maps. Long-pressing triggers Folax, the company's AI voice assistant.

In addition to the above features, the phone also comes with other intelligent tools such as AI Call Assistant, AI Writing Assistant, and Google's Circle to Search, giving more productivity and convenience to daily use.

Gaming and Connectivity

Gamers will appreciate HyperEngine 5.0 Lite and XBoost AI Game Mode, which the company says make the Hot 60 5G+ the first in its class to enjoy up to 90 fps gaming.

There's also Ultralink Connectivity, a special feature to make Infinix-to-Infinix voice calls in low- or no-network zones—an excellent choice for emergencies or rural usage.

Price and Availability in India

The Infinix Hot 60 5G+ costs ₹10,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It comes in Shadow Blue, Sleek Black, and Tundra Green, with the sales beginning through Flipkart from July 17.
