Infinix Smart 9 HD: Infinix has just launched the Smart 9 HD in India, marking the first release in their new Smart 9 series. This model succeeds the Smart 8 HD, which hit the market back in December 2023. The Smart 9 HD brings a solid upgrade, with a 6.7-inch HD+ display that boasts a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. If you’re into media consumption, the phone also comes with dual stereo speakers and DTS audio processing for a richer sound experience. Plus, it’s got an IP54 rating, so you don’t have to worry about light splashes of water.

Infinix Smart 9 HD Price in India

The Smart 9 HD is priced at Rs. 6,699, but here’s the good part: it will be available for just Rs. 6,199 as part of a special launch offer. You can grab it starting February 4 on Flipkart, and the phone comes in four colors—Mint Green, Coral Gold, Neo Titanium, and Metallic Black.

The display on the Smart 9 HD is a standout with its 6.7-inch HD+ screen and 90Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and good brightness (500 nits). It also features a hole-punch cutout for the front camera. Infinix has added dual speakers, enhanced with DTS audio technology, to deliver a better sound experience.

The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G50 chip, paired with up to 6GB RAM (3GB physical + 3GB virtual) and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. Running on Android 14 Go edition, the phone is optimized for smooth performance even with lower specs.

For photography, the Smart 9 HD comes with a 13MP dual rear camera setup, complete with a quad LED flash. The front camera is an 8MP lens, supported by both LED and screen flash, so you’re all set for selfies and video calls. There are also several modes, like beauty and portrait, to enhance your shots.

Battery and Connectivity

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery, which Infinix claims will give you up to 14.5 hours of video playback or 8.6 hours of gaming. Plus, it has AI charge protection to keep your battery in top shape. For connectivity, you get all the essentials like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

At this price point, the Infinix Smart 9 HD is a pretty solid budget option for those looking for a dependable phone with a big screen, decent camera, and long battery life.
