JE Technology Desk: Meta-owned app Instagram is seemingly down for several users in India. According to the stats from Downdetector, the problem peaked at around 11:30 AM in the morning. At the time of filing, the graph is steadily sloping downwards. Around 55 per cent of users are facing issues during login, 30 per cent are facing problems in the app and 16 per cent are facing issues on the website, as per the stats on the platform at the time of writing.

The error message reads: "Page isn't available right now. This may be because of a technical error that we're working to get fixed. Try reloading this page." Users were facing problems while signing in to the platform, loading their feed and sending messages, according to media reports. Plus, problems also revolved around errors in uploading photos and videos.

#InstagramDown also started trending early morning on Twitter where users shared hilarious responses concerning the second outage this month.

Meanwhile, the app also witnessed an outage earlier this month. In the last disruption, Instagram accounts reported that users were unable to access news feed, view stories, videos and reels on the app. Moreover, people were unable to visit the profiles of other users on the platform. Another major outage hit the photo-sharing app last month in which the users were unable to access the news feed.

7:40 PM Update: While the company has not confirmed the outage yet, it was probably a technical glitch that stands fixed now.
